As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AI-Vets, James F. Cavin directs the company’s strategic vision and daily operations, aligning programs, partners, and delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions that transform innovation into measurable mission outcomes.
James combines extensive military leadership with commercial technology expertise. He began his career in 1993 with the U.S. Marine Corps and has served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard since 1998 as an Army Engineer. He currently holds the position of Command Sergeant Major at Camp Gruber Training Facility in Braggs, Oklahoma. His service includes deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and ongoing contributions to domestic disaster-response missions.
In the private sector, James previously served as Senior Vice President at Pivot Technology, where he led cybersecurity initiatives before founding AmeriinfoVets (AI-Vets) in 2017. His professional focus includes infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, designing secure, resilient systems for large, complex federal environments such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Homeland Security.
James holds a master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Tulsa. He is an active member of the American Legion, Marine Corps League, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a lifetime member of the Army Engineer Association. Deeply committed to service, he also volunteers in his local community. Known for his ability to solve customer challenges with advanced technologies, James is a strong advocate for pragmatic modernization that delivers tangible results in support of the mission.
