Database Administrator

In this position, you will monitor production databases, coordinate and deploy application upgrades, and perform routine maintenance, backup, and recovery. You will analyze performance, tune systems for peak efficiency, and track data-growth trends to anticipate storage needs. Additional duties include installing and upgrading Oracle RDBMS (11g to 12c), managing RAC and ASM clusters, supporting GoldenGate replication, configuring Active Data Guard for standby databases, and partnering with system administrators to enforce robust user-access controls. 

The ideal candidate brings several years of hands-on experience administering Oracle RAC/ASM environments, proven expertise in backup and recovery strategies, and a talent for performance tuning and scripting database changes.
